Langeac

Langeac is a small city with character. This is where our hotel is located in Auvergne, in the Haute Loire department.

Crossed by the river Allier (one of the main tributaries of the Loire), it is an ideal tourist base for families and nature lovers.

You can practice many water sports (canoeing, rafting, canyoning…), superb hiking and cycling in a preserved environment, as well as an adventure course along the river.

The heritage of Langeac is very rich with its museums and religious buildings that bear witness to the past.

Not to be missed in summer, the touristic train of the Allier gorges which links Langeac to Langogne, one of the most beautiful railway lines in Europe where no road passes.

Langeac is a lively and welcoming little town with its 2 weekly markets (Tuesdays and Thursdays), its fairs and festivals such as the St Gal (first weekend in July), the Belle Journée LaFayette (last weekend in July) and its bars and restaurants.
